In Paris, the Atelier des Lumières invites you to enjoy a spectacular immersive experience.
Housed in a former foundry, this immersive venue fills 3,300 m² of space with digital images, powered by 140 video projectors and a spatialised sound system.
Across five distinctive spaces, the projections take on different forms: larger-than-life in the Great Hall, reflected in countless directions in the Tower of Mirrors and interactive in the Children's Workshop. It's an original way to explore art and cultural history as you wander from one space to the next.
The Hall: the beating heart of the immersive experience
Covering 1,500 m², the Great Hall is the centrepiece of the Atelier des Lumières experience. Remarkable immersive installations showcase the great masters of painting, pop‑culture icons, music legends and epic worlds of discovery, presenting them in a whole new light.
The images are projected on a huge scale, springing to life before your eyes and inviting you to wander freely through the space to the beat of a captivating soundtrack.
The Children's Workshop: an interactive experience specially for the little ones
The Atelier des Enfants is a fun, creative way for young visitors to explore two fascinating themes: the underwater world and the Italian Renaissance.
The children begin by colouring in their drawings and scanning them before watching them come to life either in an underwater world or in a scene inspired by the masterpieces of Leonardo da Vinci.
The interactive experience continues as the magic unfolds: just one touch on the wall is all it takes for the children to bring the images to life.
The Cistern: a different perspective on the artworks
Located at the heart of the Great Hall, the Cistern is a striking reminder of the foundry's industrial past. It offers visitors a different way of experiencing the projections shown in the Great Hall, enhancing the experience with additional content that invites them to continue their journey of discovery.

The Tower of Mirrors: works of art stretching to infinity
Shift your perspective inside the Tower of Mirrors, another must‑see feature of the Great Hall! Like a giant kaleidoscope, this space creates multiple reflections of the artworks across dozens of mirrored surfaces, transforming how you see the projections.
Let yourself be swept away by this play of shifting perspectives and gaze at the images that seem to echo and stretch into infinity.
The Mezzanine: the view from above
Rise above it all on the Mezzanine as you marvel at the Great Hall in its entirety.
From this special viewpoint you can appreciate the sheer scale of the monumental projections and experience the scene from an entirely new perspective.
After the immersive and interactive spaces, the Mezzanine offers an expansive view of the projections and lets you carry on exploring at your own tempo.
