In this section, you will find all the relevant conditions and information to help you plan your visit.
Book a time slot
All group visits must be booked in advance through our dedicated group booking platforms. Payment is not necessarily required at the time of booking.
We no longer accept bookings by email or provide separate quotes. Once you have booked your time slot, you will receive an automatic confirmation email summarising your booking request, which will also serve as your quote.
Advance booking
All group visits must be booked in advance to ensure preferential rates and guaranteed access to the Atelier des Lumières:
Young people (3-25 years): €9
One complimentary adult ticket for every eight young visitors. Each additional adult entry is priced at €17.50.
Group ticketing
A group is defined as 20 people or more for self‑guided visits (no minimum number of participants for guided tours). If your group has over 50 participants, we suggest you divide it into two and reserve two separate visit slots.
You can book your group’s time slot online via our dedicated ticketing system. Your reservation does not necessarily require immediate payment. You may amend a reservation provided that payment has not been made.
Groups of under 20 participants
A group is defined as 20 people or more for self‑guided visits (no minimum number of participants for guided tours). If you have fewer than 20 participants, please purchase your tickets via the individual ticketing system.
Billing and payment methods
You can select your payment method during the online booking process:
- Online by bank card: must be made no later than seven days before your visit. The size of the group cannot be changed once payment has been made.
- Administrative payment order: your booking will be confirmed once we receive the order form, which must be sent to us at least seven days before your visit.
- Pass Culture (for school groups): once your booking request has been submitted, we will create the matching offer on Adage, which you can then confirm.
- In person on the day of your visit, by cheque or bank card. You may update your group size on arrival, when you will only be charged for those attending on the day.
No deposit is required before your visit.
Access to Atelier des Lumières
Coach parking
We do not have any parking facilities. If you are coming by bus, it may stop in front of the Atelier des Lumières to allow passengers to disembark. There is a car park at Père Lachaise cemetery.

Your visit
Arriving on time
All groups must arrive at their scheduled booking time. This helps ensure a smooth experience for all visitors.
Please let us know if you are running late. If you arrive more than 30 minutes after your scheduled time, admission cannot be guaranteed.Mandatory adult supervision
Teachers and accompanying adults must remain with their school or youth groups throughout the visit. They are responsible for ensuring that the children behave appropriately.
One adult is admitted free of charge for every 8 children. Additional adults are charged €16 each.Length of visit
We recommend allowing 75 to 90 minutes. However, the visit is self‑paced and there are no time restrictions.
Enhancing your visit
We do not offer audio guides. Guided tours are available depending on the exhibition programme.
