Visual accessibility
Atelier des Lumières provides a range of tools to support blind or visually impaired visitors and help them make the most of the immersive experience.
How to get to Atelier des Lumières?
“Easy-to-read” maps designed for visually impaired people are available on public transport. These maps, printed in very large type with a high‑contrast design, are available on request at Metro and RER stations.
An accessibility guide for the RATP network is also available for people with visual impairments.
Visiting Atelier des Lumières
To ensure that everyone can enjoy the experience in the best possible conditions, a range of measures and recommendations are provided to accommodate individual sensitivities.
- Assistance dogs are permitted. Please make sure that your dog is wearing a harness or vest that clearly identifies its role. You do not need to register your assistance dog prior to your visit.
- Discover an audio-visual experience like no other at the Atelier des Lumières. The images are projected in a monumental format across the walls, immersing the entire space and creating an atmosphere that everyone can enjoy. In perfect sync with the projections, music plays an essential role in the experience: it guides visitors through the space, inviting them to connect with the artworks in a whole new way through sound and emotion.
